Roger Cardona Santa Rosa: The Medical Device Industry

Roger Cardona of Santa Rosa has spent most of his professional career in the medical device industry. His background is in Finance and Accounting, and he holds an accounting degree from Sonoma State University, and an MBA from California State University Monterey.

Roger Cardona of Santa Rosa has worked for two Fortune 500 companies during his career, including one of the largest medical device companies in the world. As he knows, there are more 6,500 medical device companies in the United States alone. Most of them are small and medium-sized enterprises employing fifty or fewer people, and they are scattered throughout the country. As Roger Cardona of Santa Rosa knows, the medical device industry has produced tools and devices that have become central to the work of surgeons and other medical professionals around the world, including artificial limbs, pacemakers, CT scanners, and radiotherapy machines.

But Roger Cardona has learned to find that critical balance between his professional life, and his home life. He is a devoted family man with a positive outlook on life, and he enjoys spending as much time with his children as possible. That includes coaching their sports teams, being involved with their school activities, and taking his family on annual Christmas trips to Lake Tahoe. He is also an enthusiastic sports fan who closely tracks the ups and downs of Major League Baseball, especially the San Francisco Giants, and the Golden State Warriors of the NBA.

“To sum up my interests,” says Roger Cardona of Santa Rosa, “I love my family, I love sports, and always looking forward to the future.”
